Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Product Expert for Fresh Water Generators, Service, based in Denmark. You will provide technical product support to customers, sales teams, and central units for AQUA, JWP, MEP, and ORCA freshwater systems.

The role includes troubleshooting, performance analysis, and contributing to EP/NP development with a focus on serviceability. You will collaborate with service development managers, participate in EPD/NPD projects, author service bulletins, and train engineers and

Qualifications

University degree in mechanical, electrical, marine engineering or similar.
Expert level of knowledge on desalination systems and/or heat transfer products.
At least 5–6 years’ experience within a related technical field.
Good knowledge of vessel engine room, marine water production systems and energy efficiency.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Answering tickets and technical product questions from service development managers.
Consult on EPD and NPD projects and join EPD/NPD initiatives.
Document solutions for automation and mechanical issues.
Prepare and publish service bulletins and maintain bulletin archive.
Manage product documents (catalogues, manuals) and keep up to date.
Support training team with product competence and deliver training sessions.
