Job summary

JD Sports Fashion in Copenhagen’s Fields store is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the in-store team, drive visual merchandising and elevate the customer experience on the shop floor.

You will oversee all floor operations, manage staff, handle personnel matters, and ensure displays reflect the latest fashion trends while maximizing sales and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Retail supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor team, coordinate visual merchandising and displays on the shop floor.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints to achieve best outcomes.
• Motivate staff, manage personnel matters and ensure professional appearance.
• Maintain stock presentation and ensure visibility of key product ranges.
• Utilise reports to optimise product placement and drive sales growth.
• Support induction and ongoing development of team members.

JD Sports Fashion is now looking for a Floor Manager to join our team in Fields, Copenhagen.

Role Overview

As part of the in-store team you will provide visual support to the store, engaging our customers by creative productplacement and utilizing the latest fashion trends. You will be leading the entire team on the floor, be first point of contact in personnel matters and motivating and supporting all your team members. You will create window and in store displays whilst maximizing storeprofitability through enticing visual concepts.

Customer Service

• Provide customers with excellent levels of Customer service.
• Support and deal with customer complaints and enquires, providing the best possible outcome.
• Ensure the personal appearance of sales team is in line with company guidelines.
• Have an understanding of the Customer Service measuring program.
• Ensure that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
• Support and motivate staff service levels in order to maximize store sales.
• Utilize in store devices, making sure that the customer is offered the whole product range.
• Use reports to assist you in product placement of key selling lines.
• Attract, engage and motivate customers into making purchases in store by using the latest visual techniques.
• Provide assistance with the maintenance of standards on the sales floor.
• Keep stock clean and presentable at all times.

Training and Development

• Encourage, Develop and motivate personal progression throughout your store
• Provide assistance with the induction and training of new joiners.
• Assist with the development of existing staff, ensuring that personnel complete the relevant E-Assessments.

Skills, experience & knowledge needed

• Retail Supervisor experience would be advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
