Job summary

Maersk Fleet Management & Technology is seeking a Fleet Superintendent to oversee the technical, operational and people management aspects of a vessel portfolio. You will lead Masters and Chief Engineers, ensure safe and reliable operations, and drive continuous improvement across the fleet in a global, dynamic environment.

You will collaborate with operations, procurement, network and technology teams to balance safety, efficiency and performance while maintaining budgets and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in vessel management and fleet operations.
• Strong preventive maintenance mindset with focus on reliability.
• Proven ability to lead senior on-board and shore teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and operational performance of vessels in your portfolio.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operation through strong tech and ops management.
• Lead Masters and Chief Engineers and act as liaison between vessels and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate inspections, dry-docks, and maintenance within approved budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement and fleet performance across safety, reliability and decarbonisation initiatives.
