Job summary

Aalborg Energie Technik A/S is seeking an experienced Finance Team Lead to head the local Finance Department in Aalborg. You will own accounting, month-end closings and controlling, manage VAT and statutory reporting, and coordinate payroll accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

You will lead the team, ensure compliance with Danish GAAP, and collaborate with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and project teams to optimize cost tracking and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a senior finance role with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controlling and reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Head local Finance Department, own accounting, month-end closings and controlling.
• Oversee VAT, Intrastat, and statutory reporting in alignment with Danish GAAP.
• Manage payroll accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and liaise with auditors and banks.
• Drive internal controls and collaborate with other departments on cost tracking.
• Provide status updates, invoicing support and profitability tracking to management.
