Job summary

Mind Energy is seeking a Finance Process & ERP Specialist to shape the future of Finance Operations. You will own ERP systems, drive automation and process improvements, and partner with Finance, Tech and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

You will manage ERP prerequisites, oversee integrations, and contribute to future upgrade initiatives while ensuring data integrity and efficient month-end close. This role is based in Aarhus with flexible remote work when feasible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with finance processes, ERP systems, finance transformation and process optimisation initiatives.
• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and close.
• Experience with ERP systems and translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience driving automation, AI or digitalisation initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive process optimisation, automation and digitalisation initiatives across Finance Operations.
• Provide specialist and hands-on support across accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, close) and identify improvements.
• Own Finance requirements for Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 as Finance System Owner and ERP Superuser.
• Translate finance/ERP requirements into scalable solutions with Finance, Tech and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to ERP development and future upgrade initiatives reflecting Finance needs.
• Ensure reliable system integrations by monitoring data quality and coordinating issue resolution.

As Finance Process & ERP Specialist, you'll help shape how Finance Operations continues to evolve through stronger systems, smarter processes and automation that creates real business value. You’ll take ownership of Finance requirements for our ERP setup and work as Finance System Owner and ERP Superuser, while translating operational needs into scalable process and system improvements.

DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE

ERP ownership, finance systems and integrations will take up the largest share of your time, alongside process improvements, automation and selected accounting activities.

Your mission is to:

• Drive process optimisation, automation, AI and digitalisation initiatives across Finance Operations.
• Provide specialist and hands-on support across selected accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, while identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Take ownership of Finance requirements for Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 as Finance System Owner and ERP Superuser, identifying, prioritising, testing and implementing system enhancements.
• Translate finance process and ERP requirements into scalable solutions in close collaboration with Finance, Tech and relevant business stakeholders.
• Contribute to ERP development and future upgrade initiatives, ensuring Finance requirements are reflected in the future system landscape.
• Ensure reliable system integrations by monitoring performance, data quality and transaction integrity, and coordinating issue resolution when needed.

You’ll join our Accounting team in Finance Operations, where nine experienced colleagues deliver accurate and timely accounting across the Mind Energy Group.

The team has a solid operational foundation and a clear eye for where processes and systems can work better. Selected areas are being developed to create a more scalable and data-driven accounting function while maintaining a solid operational foundation.

Knowledge is shared openly, and colleagues use each other's expertise when questions need more than one perspective.

This position is based at our Aarhus office, with flexibility to work from home when it fits the work and the team.

We imagine you bring:

• 5+ years of experience with finance processes, ERP systems, finance transformation, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

You don't need to tick every box. What matters most is solid finance process and ERP experience, combined with the curiosity to keep improving how systems and processes work.
