Job summary

Mind Energy A/S in Aarhus is seeking a Finance Process & ERP Specialist to own ERP and Finance systems. You will lead automation initiatives and translate operational needs into scalable processes, collaborating with Finance, Tech and stakeholders.

Based in Aarhus with the flexibility to work from home when feasible, you should have 5+ years of experience in finance processes and ERP systems, and a strong AX or similar ERP background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with finance processes, ERP systems, finance transformation and process optimisation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of finance processes including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own ERP across finance, with responsibility for finance system ownership and ERP superuser duties.
• Drive process optimisation, automation, AI and digitalisation across Finance Operations.
• Provide specialist and hands-on support across GL, AP and AR, identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Translate finance requirements into scalable ERP solutions in collaboration with Finance, Tech and stakeholders.
• Contribute to ERP development and future upgrade initiatives, ensuring finance needs are reflected in the system landscape.
• Ensure reliable system integrations by monitoring data quality and transaction integrity and coordinating issue resolution.

What if your next process improvement shaped the future of Finance?
As Finance Process & ERP Specialist, you'll help shape how Finance Operations continues to evolve through stronger systems, smarter processes and automation that creates real business value. You’ll take ownership of Finance requirements for our ERP setup and work as Finance System Owner and ERP Superuser, while translating operational needs into scalable process and system improvements.

DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE

ERP ownership, finance systems and integrations will take up the largest share of your time, alongside process improvements, automation and selected accounting activities.

Your mission is to:

• Drive process optimisation, automation, AI and digitalisation initiatives across Finance Operations.
• Provide specialist and hands‑on support across selected accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, while identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Take ownership of Finance requirements for Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 as Finance System Owner and ERP Superuser, identifying, prioritising, testing and implementing system enhancements.
• Translate finance process and ERP requirements into scalable solutions in close collaboration with Finance, Tech and relevant business stakeholders.
• Contribute to ERP development and future upgrade initiatives, ensuring Finance requirements are reflected in the future system landscape.
• Ensure reliable system integrations by monitoring performance, data quality and transaction integrity, and coordinating issue resolution when needed.

You’ll join our Accounting team in Finance Operations, where nine experienced colleagues deliver accurate and timely accounting across the Mind Energy Group.

The team has a solid operational foundation and a clear eye for where processes and systems can work better. Selected areas are being developed to create a more scalable and data-driven accounting function while maintaining a solid operational foundation.
Knowledge is shared openly, and colleagues use each other’s expertise when questions need more than one perspective.

This position is based at our Aarhus office, with flexibility to work from home when it fits the work and the team.

You have an eye for where processes and systems can work better. You explore new possibilities with curiosity and prioritise the improvements that create lasting value.

We imagine you bring:

• 5+ years of experience with finance processes, ERP systems, finance transformation, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial close.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience driving automation, AI or digitalisation initiatives in collaboration with Finance, Tech and business stakeholders.
• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

You don't need to tick every box. What matters most is solid finance process and ERP experience, combined with the curiosity to keep improving how systems and processes work.
