Job summary

Ascendis Pharma A/S in Denmark is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Finance Operations’ Controlling team. You will combine hands-on financial control with process improvement and digital development across our global organization.

Based at our Hellerup headquarters, you will manage reconciliations, month-end activities, and system optimizations, while collaborating with IT and business partners to drive smarter, scalable finance processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Experience in finance operations, accounting, auditing or controlling is valued.
• IFRS knowledge is an advantage; strong English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities; support Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, PO accruals and stakeholder communication.
• Participate in month-end closing, SOX controls and IFRS-related accounting activities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate finance processes; drive process documentation and governance.
• Participate in system optimization and implementation projects and cross-team initiatives (Impero month-end close tool).
• Use systems, data and technology to improve quality, efficiency and user experience; build scalable workflows.
