Job summary

Alma Property Partners seeks a Finance Manager to take full ownership of Denmark’s financial operations. You will sit with a small investment team in Copenhagen and collaborate with the Nordic finance function to drive day-to-day and strategic tasks.

The role demands a MSc in Finance/Accounting with Big 4 experience and real estate/private equity exposure. Danish language for external admin and English as internal language are required.

Qualifications

• MSc in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• Big 4 audit experience preferred.
• Experience in real estate or private equity investments.
• Strong accounting and controlling capabilities.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting and fund accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own finance operations for the Danish unit and coordinate reporting from the outsourced provider.
• Support Danish transaction team in due diligence, structuring, and on/off-boarding of entities and bank accounts.
• Lead quarterly fund reporting for Denmark and liaise with Nordic finance.
• Manage JV structures and minority calculations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and fund agreements including ESG reporting.
• Assist with annual audit, tax filings and annual reports.
• Support local debt financing and covenant reporting.
• Map and implement Nordic finance structures in a Danish context and optimize processes.
• Contribute to investor reporting and cross-Nordic finance projects.

Alma Property Partners is looking for a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the financial operations in Denmark.

You will be the only finance professional in the Copenhagen office - sitting alongside a small, dedicated investment team and playing a central role in both day-to-day operations and strategic transactions.

Reporting directly to the Partner in the Danish office, you will work closely with Alma's Nordic finance function led from Stockholm. It is a role with real influence, broad responsibility and genuine opportunity to shape how finance works in Denmark.

Your primary areas of responsibility will include:

• Overall finance responsibility for the Danish operations, including coordination and quality assurance of reporting from the outsourced accounting provider.
• Active support of the Danish transaction team in connection with due diligence, structuring, and on- and off-boarding of companies and bank accounts.
• Quarterly fund reporting for Denmark, including quality review and coordination with the Nordic finance function.
• Management of JV structures and minority calculations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and fund agreements - including ESG reporting.
• Assistance with annual audit, tax filings and annual reports.
• Supporting local debt financing and covenant reporting.
• Mapping and implementing the Swedish finance structure in a Danish context - optimising processes and workflows in the local portfolio.
• Contributing to investor reporting, ad hoc queries and cross-Nordic finance projects.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant academic background - an MSc in Finance, Accounting or similar - ideally combined with a few years in audit at a Big 4 firm or equivalent. Most importantly, you have practical experience from real estate or private equity and understand the financial and structural mechanics that drive this type of business.

You are technically strong in accounting and controlling and well-equipped to navigate complex structures involving JVs, intercompany arrangements, financing and compliance. Stakeholder management comes naturally to you - you communicate clearly and credibly with auditors, banks, investors and colleagues across the Nordics.

As a person, you are independent, proactive and not afraid to act. You move effortlessly between the detail of a set of accounts and the helicopter view of an investor presentation. You are down-to-earth, without sharp elbows, and you thrive in a small, close-knit team.

It matters that you are genuinely interested in what Alma does - in the investments and in real estate as an asset class. Danish is a requirement in relation to external administrators. English is the internal working language at Alma.
