Job summary

Xellia Pharmaceuticals seeks a Finance Director, Group Finance Reporting & Accounting, to lead the Group FRA team in Copenhagen. You will drive timely, accurate financial reporting, strengthen accounting governance, and lead a team of five professionals in a high-standards, international environment.

Reporting to the Senior Director Corporate Finance, you will collaborate closely with Corporate Finance, Business Finance, and external partners, balancing technical depth with leadership to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in group reporting, accounting, audit or similar finance leadership role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting, technical accounting, tax, controls and compliance.
• Ability to communicate with top management and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and ensure timely monthly and annual group reporting, including Danish entities.
• Lead quality assurance of consolidated reporting, statutory reporting, audit documentation, and management presentations.
• Ensure clear and updated financial controls, policies, treasury and tax responsibilities.
• Lead and mentor the FRA team with clear priorities, guidance and trust-based management.
• Act as financial sounding board for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Collaborate with extended finance teams in Budapest and India and drive cross-border process improvements.
• Support automation and AI-driven process optimization within reporting.
• Balance strategic oversight with hands-on contribution during peak periods.
