Job summary

C-Leanship As in Denmark is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our finance team. You will own the numbers, drive the month-end close, and partner with the business to improve financial performance.

This hands-on role requires 3–5 years in finance, ERP experience (Business Central preferred), and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is required; Danish is a plus. Hybrid work with HQ in Køge.

C-Leanship is a Danish maritime technology company delivering biofouling management asa service to the global shipping industry. We design, build, and operate ROVs that cleanship hulls and propellers — without divers, without downtime, and with full collection ofbiofouling waste. From hubs in Singapore, Busan, and Denmark we have completed more than1,500 hull cleanings on vessels.

We are now in the most exciting phase of the company’s history: systematic growth, newhub expansions, and a capital raise that puts finance at the centre of strategicexecution.

The role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in Denmark. Thisis a hands-on finance role with real business impact. You will be the person who keepsour financial engine running — and makes it smarter. That means owning the numbers,questioning the data, driving efficiency through AI technology, and being a genuinepartner to the business rather than a back-office function.

You will work alongside our Group Financial Controller and report directly to the CFO.

What you will own

• Driving the month-end closing process, ensuring quality, structure and integrity of financial data
• Optimisation of working capital; supporting cash flow, liquidity planning and payment processes
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including VAT and statutory reporting
• Driving forecasting and financial planning
• Delivering financial insights and analysis that support real business decisions
• Acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders across departments and across all locations
• Driving data optimisation and process improvement — applying AI tools and acting as a key system specialist within Finance to continuously develop the finance function and systems

What we are looking for

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a finance role — you know your way around a close, a reconciliation, and a cash flow
• Strong analytical capabilities and a system-oriented mindset; you are comfortable improving data structures, not just working within them
• Experience with ERP systems; Business Central is an advantage
• Hands-on, structured, detail-oriented, and proactive — you take ownership without being asked
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international organisation where things change and priorities shift
• Fluent English, Danish is a plus but not a requirement

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI or automation tools to finance processes
• Experience from the shipping, maritime, or offshore industry
• Background in a scale-up or growth-stage company
