JSS is partnering with a Private Equity-backed client to build a new Commercial Finance capability. As Commercial Finance Director, you will be the senior financial partner to the leadership team, translating data into clear insights, shaping investment, pricing and resource decisions, and driving growth through analytics and commercial rigour.
This hybrid role requires influencing senior stakeholders, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on analysis, and building robust business cases.
We are partnering exclusively with our Private Equity client as they build out their new Commercial Finance capability to support the next phase of growth. This is highly commercial leadership role, embedded within the business and partnering directly with senior operational and commercial stakeholders - rather than sitting within a traditional reporting function, you'll operate at the heart of decision-making, helping leadership teams navigate growth, complexity and change while shaping how commercial performance is understood and managed across the organisation.
As Commercial Finance Director, you will act as the senior commercial sparring partner to your leadership team, turning financial and operational data into clear insights that drive action. You'll identify the key drivers behind performance, challenge assumptions, evaluate strategic opportunities and ensure investment, pricing and resource decisions are grounded in sound commercial thinking. Working closely with business leaders, you'll build robust business cases, highlight risks and opportunities before they emerge in reported results, and create greater accountability around performance. Success in the role will come from your ability to influence senior stakeholders, balance commercial judgement with analytical rigour, and provide the constructive challenge needed to improve outcomes.
This role will operate as a hybrid engagement with circa 2-3 days onsite in the Copenhagen office - representing an excellent opportunity to network and build relationships with key stakeholders with the organisation. There may be occasional travel required within Europe, but this will be limited and only to meet business needs - expect to be largely based in Copenhagen.
