Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join its Engineering team in Denmark, preferably in Ballerup or Aarhus (Viby). In this role, you will support customers in developing innovative electronic solutions, build strong relationships as a trusted technical advisor, and aid in their R&D efforts.

Field Application Engineer

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to join our Engineering team in Denmark and support customers in developing innovative electronic solutions. The preferred location is Ballerup or Aarhus (Viby), with flexibility for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Support customers’ R&D teams in selecting the right technologies and components for new designs.
• Participate in a wide variety of customer development projects across multiple industries.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a trusted technical advisor and customer-facing partner.
• Take a proactive approach in identifying customer needs and proposing innovative solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies through continuous training from leading semiconductor manufacturers and internal specialists.
• Guide technical direction and priorities based on supplier strategies and market trends.

Requirements

• Strong electronics background with a passion for innovative technologies.
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or similar technical education.
• Experience in electronic design is highly valued.
• Proactive, open-minded, and communicative personality.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing role and building long-term relationships.
• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Driving license and willingness to travel within Denmark for customer visits.
