Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a seasoned MEP Design Manager to lead electrical and mechanical design on high-stakes projects across Europe. The role requires leadership of design teams, driving quality, and delivering on schedule in a global context.

You will champion design excellence, guide multi-regional teams, and ensure collaboration with clients and construction teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical design engineering background.
• Experience leading design teams on large projects.
• Ability to make informed calls when data is imperfect.
• Proven leadership across multiple regions and cultures.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and engineering activity on major projects – power, cooling, telecoms, controls.
• Manage teams across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
• Be the go-to expert when construction hits complex challenges.
• Improve design processes and uphold the Kirby Way.
• Recruit, coach and develop engineers to raise performance.
• Present to clients in tender interviews and kick-off meetings with confidence.
