Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering activities on a construction project in Denmark. You will coordinate the technical design from on-site installation through commissioning, ensuring alignment with Kirby's values.

The role requires 4+ years’ project engineering experience with a mechanical contractor, delivering small to medium mechanical projects, and strong HSE knowledge. On-site teamwork with design, contractors and the project team is essential.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant Project engineering experience of 4 years+ with a mechanical contractor.
• Experience delivering small to medium mechanical projects in commercial, industrial, pharma or data centre sectors.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design with on-site installation through to commissioning.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for production activities.
• Organise and assess the work of sub-contractors.
• Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging.
• Review project design specifications and access compliance of drawings.
• Attend project meetings with design team and contractors.
