Job summary

Secomea is seeking an Engineering Team Lead for the GateManager Team, reporting to the VP of Engineering. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people leadership in a growing international company.

You will shape a security‑critical, Linux‑based platform, tackle distributed systems, secure networking, identity and policy enforcement, and mentor engineers to deliver scalable, robust software.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Linux systems development for production-grade software.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, TLS, and secure communications in distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring and leading other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Ability to translate high-level goals into concrete technical outcomes and drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GateManager team, shaping security-critical components of the platform.
• Oversee design and evolution of a Linux-based, scalable architecture across cloud and edge environments.
• Coach team members, conduct performance discussions, and participate in hiring activities.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, cloud services, and user experience to ensure seamless integration.
