Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Head of Technical in Horning, Denmark to lead a small Engineering/PTA team. You will stay close to technical design while guiding people, improving processes and ensuring that engineering supports Sales, Production, Installation and customers.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will influence engineering quality, develop staff, and drive continuous improvement across the department.

Qualifications

Several years of experience in engineering or technical design within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with CAD, product configuration, production engineering and Lean methodologies.
Strong planning, communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily engineering operations and ensure alignment with production flow and customer commitments.
Coach and develop the Engineering team; manage performance and onboarding.
Plan resources and prioritise tasks across Sales, Production and Procurement to meet deadlines.
Foster cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Sales, Production, Procurement, Installation and Service.
Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes; standardise drawings and reduce lead times.
Ensure compliance with company standards, technical specs and product configurations.
Support product introductions and ensure engineering readiness for production.
