Job summary

Traka (Assa Abloy) seeks a hands-on Head of Technical to lead a small Engineering/ PTA team, staying close to technical design while developing people and processes. You will drive engineering operations, coordinate with Sales, Production, and Installation, and influence the quality and timeliness of technical solutions.

The role reports to the Technical Director, focusing on improving engineering support for production, customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Engineering department and ensure alignment with production flow and customer commitments.
• Manage and develop the Engineering team, including onboarding and performance dialogues.
• Plan resources and coordinate workload across Sales, Production and Procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and standardise drawings and designs.
• Act as interface between Engineering and Sales, Production, Procurement, Installation and Service.

As Engineering Manager, you will lead a small Engineering / PTA team, stay close to the technical details, and help improve the way engineering supports Sales, Production, Installation, and customers.You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Engineering department, ensuring that engineering activities run efficiently, support production flow, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
