Job summary

Danfoss in Nordborg, Denmark, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own and optimize a key machining value stream. You will drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while supporting daily production and championing automation initiatives.

Responsibilities include monitoring OEE and First Part Yield, collaborating with multiple functions, and leading CAPEX projects in alignment with Danfoss quality standards.

Qualifications

• Technical background in manufacturing, production technology, mechanics, or automation.
• Ability to work independently and own improvements from idea to implementation.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Structured, quality-focused mindset with interest in manufacturing excellence.
• Experience reading technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve a manufacturing process area to enhance safety, quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency
• Support daily production performance by troubleshooting technical and process-related issues and implementing sustainable solutions
• Monitor and optimize key manufacturing metrics (OEE and First Part Yield) to identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate across Production, Planning, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and other stakeholders to achieve targets
• Lead automation, digitalization, and CAPEX projects while ensuring compliance with Danfoss quality standards and IATF 16949 requirements
