Job summary

Lunar is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Data Platform & Governance squad in Copenhagen to lead and grow a team of 5–10 engineers, delivering reliable data pipelines and governance across analytics, AI, and regulatory reporting.

You will partner with product and engineering to ensure data is structured, accessible, and trusted. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a co-created mission in a fast-moving Nordic environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Experience in data engineering, data platform, or data infrastructure.
• Strong communication across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data Platform & Governance squad—setting engineering culture and psychological safety.
• Own the performance and development of 5–10 engineers through 1:1s and growth plans.
• Deliver reliable data pipelines, storage, and modelling for analytics and governance.
• Raise the bar on data governance and quality standards with Insights & Data teams.
• Enable AI initiatives by ensuring data is structured and readily accessible.
