Job summary

Lunar ApS is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Copenhagen-based squad focused on building Lunar's self-service analytical data platform, Hubble. You’ll own end-to-end data platform projects, from real-time ingestion to the data warehouse, enabling analysts and stakeholders across the business.

You will work with Flink/Spark streaming, cloud infra (AWS/GCP), and Terraform/Kubernetes, translating platform capabilities into usable data products for the team.

Qualifications

• Senior-level data engineering experience with ownership of platform-level systems.
• Experience with stream data processing using Flink or Spark or similar.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) and architectural trade-offs.
• Programming experience in Golang, Scala, or Python plus SQL.
• Ability to translate platform capabilities for analysts and non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain self-service data platform components and pipelines.
• Own end-to-end data platform projects from ingestion to warehouse.
• Ensure reliability of the data warehouse and data services.
• Provision cloud infra with Terraform and run services in Kubernetes.
• Support stakeholders with data requests and scale impact.
