Job summary

SimCorp is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead 1-2 software teams in the Investment Operations Corporate Actions Product Area, driving staffing, delivery, and high-quality software across a cloud-native platform.

You will partner with Product Management, guide architecture, improve performance, and foster an open, collaborative culture across an international organization. The role emphasizes strong leadership, engineering excellence, and client-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience leading software engineers.
• Deep software engineering expertise for complex systems.
• Ability to coach on architecture, system design, quality engineering, AI-assisted development, observability, performance and operational excellence.
• Collaborate across a large, international organisation and foster engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 software engineering teams within the Investment Operations Corporate Actions Product Area.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine customer outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day scrum activities and deliver short-term goals and long-term improvements.
• Coordinate with other engineering leaders on product quality, security, performance and scalability.
• Contribute to strategic direction of the product areas.
