Job summary

EG A/S seeks an Engineering Director to own a platform spanning three verticals—leading managers through change, not just individual contributors. You will drive modernization of ASPECT4, evolve the IBM i base toward MACH principles, and own the technology strategy for Transport, Manufacturing, and Fashion.

You will report to the VP of Engineering for the Retail & Supply Chain division and join a leadership team responsible for a broad product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading managers in a senior organisation.
• Proven ability delivering both SaaS and on-premises software.
• Fluent English; Danish not required.
• Comfort setting technical direction across a legacy platform and modern practices.
• Proven trust-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Location: Central Jutland, with main office in Aarhus; teams in Denmark and India.

Responsibilities

• 40% people leadership – design and lead teams across Denmark and India.
• 40% technology strategy – modernisation, SDLC improvement, and platform evolution.
• 20% customer and stakeholder engagement – present technical direction to customers and internal stakeholders.
