Job description

Do you have a technical background and an interest in energy efficiency? Would you like to develop your expertise in district heating and help customers move forward with their green transition?

A job focused on creating change in the green transition within the energy sector

As an Energy Advisor, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to help our heat utility customers improve energy efficiency and support their green transition. Using our intelligent metering and software solutions, data insights, and direct consumer communication, you will help reduce return temperatures and optimize district heating systems.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Delivering training sessions and workshops for utility employees and users of our solutions.
  • Monitoring and analyzing district heating systems, identifying installations that do not meet return temperature requirements, and informing consumers directly.
  • Advising consumers on energy efficiency by answering incoming calls and providing guidance.
  • Collaborating closely with utilities and facilitating status meetings to align on service performance and objectives.
  • Working with Energy Advisors and our service development team to further develop and improve the service business.

Turn your technical interest into expertise and make a visible impact on the green transition. Work closely with customers while developing your specialization in district heating.

Meet your future team

As part of our Service Execution Team, you will work alongside two Energy Advisors and report to the Manager, Service Execution. Together, you will be responsible for daily operations and the deployment of solutions, helping customers get the most out of our products and services. We share an ambition to deliver an excellent customer experience and stay one step ahead of our competitors.

Did you know? The manager for the team is also our volunteer Kamstrup padel instructor.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for a curious and customer-oriented Energy Advisor with a solid technical background and a motivation to specialize in district heating and its role in the green transition. You may bring practical experience from plumbing, energy, or a related technical field, or have a graduate-level education within energy or environmental technology. Whether you are experienced or newly graduated, experience with district heating, heating systems, or energy advisory will be an advantage.

  • Hold a graduate-level education in energy or environmental technology or have at least two years of relevant practical experience.
  • Ideally have experience with district heating, heating systems, or energy advisory.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating to achieve shared results.
  • Enjoy helping others and can turn technical data into simple guidance for consumers with limited technical knowledge.
  • Work in a structured and analytical way, balancing different tasks, deadlines, and quality.

As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish, while German is considered an advantage.

We are more than an ordinary workplace

We cherish the good colleagueship which we all contribute to, the only limit is your engagement. As we are a big organization you are bound to find one or more colleagues who share the same interest as you. This might be in our board game club, on our cycling team, during our yearly summer festival, or on the padel court. For example, our Manager, Service Execution, is also our volunteer padel instructor while one of our Software Test Engineers runs weekly spinning classes.

Besides the best colleagues you could imagine, we also offer:

  • Work life balance through flexible working hours
  • Employee benefits including a healthy canteen, fitness facilities, in-house dental clinic, hairdresser, and a free health clinic
  • An active employee association that fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace community
  • Beneficial health care and insurance package
