Job summary

Vestas invites a Logistics Specialist to join the Blade Component factory in Lem, where logistics is a key enabler of safe, stable production. You will connect global planning, procurement, suppliers and local warehouse execution to ensure the right materials are available at the right time and in the right condition.

You will drive end-to-end material flow improvements, boost inventory accuracy, and support production with structure, transparency and data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Background in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chains and interfaces between planning, procurement and factory execution.
• Strong analytical skills to identify optimization opportunities across planning, sourcing and warehouse processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and inventory follow-up.
• Structured, data-based working style with ability to translate data into actions.
• Experience with standard work, process discipline and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement optimization opportunities across planning, sourcing, and warehouse processes to reduce indirect hours and support stable production output.
• Manage and support continuous improvements in material flow, inventory accuracy, and logistics execution.
• Ensure consistent operational follow-up by analyzing bottlenecks, deviations, and root causes—and initiating effective corrective actions.
• Support production with data-driven decisions, ensuring transparency on material readiness and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with planners, buyers, warehouse teams and production to ensure efficient coordination and fast problem solving.
• Contribute to standardization and process discipline, ensuring logistics processes are consistently followed and improved.
• Manage freight and inventory budgeting and reporting.
