Job summary

DEIF A/S is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to bolster the quality of their embedded software products. You will design and run regression tests, build automation, and collaborate across software teams.

You should have hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, and test frameworks like Pytest and Playwright, plus CI/CD and Agile practices. ISTQB/ TMAP is a plus. The role offers hybrid work with opportunities at multiple sites and a focus on end-to-end validation.

Qualifications

• Experience testing embedded software applications.
• Hands-on Python and JavaScript with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Playwright).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• ISTQB or TMAP certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute regression tests spanning full product workflows.
• Create and maintain automated regression scripts for end-to-end validation.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Improve regression coverage using risk-based testing and reusable frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and test strategy discussions to raise E2E quality.
• Collaborate with Test Developers to design the test infrastructure for new products.
