Job summary

Lattec, based in Allerød, Denmark, seeks a hands-on Device Tech Lead to own the Device domain, guide device software developers and strengthen integration with hardware. You will influence technical direction while staying close to code and hardware.

You will collaborate across Device, Backend/SRE and Frontend, promoting robust engineering practices, maintainability and diagnostic capabilities for embedded systems and IoT devices.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineer with hands-on leadership in embedded or IoT.
• Pragmatic decision-maker who balances hardware and software.
• Ability to work across device, hardware, and software boundaries.
• Focus on quality, maintainability, and reliability.
• Excellent communication of device constraints and risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical work within the Device domain.
• Contribute to device software development close to code and hardware.
• Provide technical direction and support architectural decisions.
• Own hardware/software integration across embedded systems and devices.
• Promote engineering practices, code quality, and documentation.
• Collaborate across Device, Backend/SRE and Frontend.
• Work with Linux-based IoT systems, Python, C#/.NET, and C.
