Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join a major data centre project in Denmark. You will lead electrical work packages, manage Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors, and ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will own package planning, construction, testing, commissioning and handover, with a clear path towards Project Management and long-term career development

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in electrical construction project delivery.
• Experience in Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Industrial or mission critical environments.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and handover.
• Strong planning, organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project cost control.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of assigned electrical packages.
• Review scope, specifications and drawings and support package execution planning.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement, resources and construction activities.
• Lead Engineers, Supervisors and Subcontractors to achieve programme milestones.
• Monitor installation progress, productivity and package risks.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to maximise productivity.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety and Environmental culture.
• Support cost control, variations, change management and subcontractor valuations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly package progress reports.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and system handover.
• Drive punch-list close-out and ensure O&M manuals are completed.
• Lead and develop Engineers and Supervisors within the package team.
• Support continuous improvement and project close-out activities.

Mane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering a major Data Centre project in Denmark.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer or Package Manager looking to take ownership of critical electrical work packages while gaining valuable exposure to programme management, commercial management, client engagement and overall project delivery. With a substantial pipeline of work extending 5+ years, this role offers long-term stability, career development and a clear opportunity to progress towards Project Management.

The Opportunity:

As Electrical Package Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of designated electrical systems and work packages, leading Engineers, Supervisors, Subcontractors and Vendors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, taking ownership of package planning, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking to speak with experienced electrical professionals with a strong background in construction and major project delivery.

You’ll ideally have:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in electrical construction project delivery
• Experience within Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Industrial or Mission Critical environments
• Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and infrastructure
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and handover

Desirable:

• Experience managing electrical packages valued at €5m+
• Exposure to MV/HV systems
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience with programme management and project reporting tools
• Ambition to progress into a Project Manager position
• Experience working in fast-track construction environments
