Job summary

Alstom in Copenhagen seeks an experienced EHS Project Manager to lead environment, health, and safety efforts across projects. You will implement emergency plans, monitor compliance, and drive continuous safety improvements with cross-functional teams among PM, HR, manufacturing, and finance.

You will manage audits, coordinate subcontractor EHS activities, travel between Copenhagen and Aarhus, develop training and communication plans, and report monthly EHS metrics while upholding AZDP and TOPE

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field and health & safety qualification.
• 5–8 years of professional experience with 3+ years in EHS roles.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Familiarity with local EHS regulations and railway sector is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS risk assessments and control measures for projects.
• Prepare, implement and maintain project emergency plans.
• Oversee sub-contractor EHS compliance at interfaces.
• Coach EHS teams and support staffing phases of projects.
• Deploy AZDP and TOPE standards across operations.
• Lead internal and external EHS audits and drive improvements.
