Job summary

Siemens Energy in Denmark is seeking an experienced EHS Manager within Grid Technologies Service to drive environmental, health, and safety excellence across the Nordic region. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in OH&S or related field.
  • Significant experience in EHS management in industrial/energy/engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation methodologies.
  • Certifications CSP/CIH/NEBOSH Diploma are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with local laws and Siemens Energy requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across the Nordic region via inspections and audits.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and near misses with root-cause analyses and corrective action tracking.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through EHS training and competency development.
  • Serve as primary EHS contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, integrating EHS into daily operations and projects.

Join us as an EHS Manager within Grid Technologies Service, where you will play a pivotal role in driving Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) excellence across the Nordic region. You will engage with operational management to identify risks, prevent incidents, and maintain safe working environments for all employees and contractors. How You’ll Make an Impact

You will develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with local legislation and Siemens Energy requirements.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across the Nordic region through regular workplace inspections and safety audits.

Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analyses and tracking corrective actions to enhance safety measures.

Promote a proactive safety culture by delivering EHS training programs and supporting competency development across the organization.

Act as the primary EHS point of contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, integrating EHS requirements into daily operations and project execution.

What You Bring

You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Significant experience in EHS management within industrial, energy, engineering, construction, or field service environments.

Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation methodologies, with experience in high-risk work environments.

Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or NEBOSH Diploma.

You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling you to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
