Job summary

FalCom in Ballerup, Denmark, seeks a DSP Integration & Platform Engineer to turn advanced DSP technologies into robust, production-ready solutions. You will integrate DSPs, codecs and middleware within FalCom’s embedded products, focusing on efficiency and reliability across hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Digital Signal Processing theory and practice.
• Experience with DSP-based audio or communication solutions is required.
• Experience integrating SDKs, codecs, or middleware into embedded products.

Responsibilities

• Integrate DSP technologies, SDKs, codecs, middleware and frameworks into FalCom products.
• Implement and maintain DSP-related embedded software in C/C++.
• Develop DSP interfaces, processing pipelines and reusable platform components.
• Optimise CPU usage, memory, latency, power consumption and real-time performance.
• Support audio-processing functions such as noise reduction, echo cancellation, beamforming and communication enhancement.
• Troubleshoot across DSP software, firmware, hardware, acoustics and system integration.
• Perform simulations, measurements, testing and validation on prototypes and physical hardware.
• Collaborate with Embedded Software, Hardware, Acoustics, System Engineering and external technology suppliers.
• Document technical decisions, test evidence and integration results.
