Abacus Medicine Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, Search & Evaluation to lead the assessment and prioritisation of external opportunities across Europe. You will own the commercial forecast, run market access considerations, and coordinate cross-functional inputs from clinical, regulatory, finance, and legal teams.

The role offers autonomy to shape AMP’s portfolio, with opportunities to engage with senior leadership, build BD&L capabilities, and drive strategic investments in a growing

Competenze

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business, or related field (required).
• 10–15+ years in pharma/biotech BD, licensing, S&E, or portfolio strategy.
• Strong forecasting, new product planning, and opportunity assessment experience.
• Experience leading structured due diligence processes.
• Deep understanding of European pharma markets, pricing, reimbursement, and market access.

• Lead the Search & Evaluation process across therapeutic areas with high-quality assessments.
• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities via outreach, conferences, and partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional evaluation of assets, coordinating experts from clinical, commercial, and finance teams.
• Own commercial forecast and EU country-level projections with scenarios and value drivers.
• Define target product profiles and translate into peak sales and P&L inputs for valuation and deal terms.
• Conduct integrated asset valuations (rNPV) in collaboration with Finance.
• Develop standardized evaluation frameworks and forecasting methodologies.
