Job summary

Bavarian Nordic seeks a Purchaser, Direct Procurement to ensure reliable, cost-effective procurement of raw materials and direct packaging for our manufacturing site. The role is hands-on, cross-functional, and involves collaborating with Global Procurement in Switzerland to secure supply.

You will build supplier relationships, manage direct categories, and support the requisition-to-purchase process in Dynamics, aligning procurement with operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with direct procurement in a manufacturing or operations-driven environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems such as Dynamics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to the site.
• Monitor inventory levels to support operational continuity.
• Identify and mitigate supply disruptions, quality issues, and supplier risks.
• Manage procurement activities across direct categories such as consumables and packaging.
• Support end-to-end requisition-to-purchase in Dynamics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement with business needs.
• Evaluate supplier performance in line with internal policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and procurement process standardization.
