Bavarian Nordic Berna GmbH invites applications for a two-year role in its Global Planning team, coordinating material flows and manufacturing readiness with external CMOs across Europe. The position offers hybrid work near Kvistgaard or remote work within Denmark, with travel 10–20% mainly in Europe and occasional US trips.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Engineering or Supply Chain, 3+ years in pharma supply planning, GMP experience, and proficiency with ERP/QMS systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, external manufacturing, planning, or a similar role in pharma, biotech, or life sciences.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and quality management systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating supply activities to deliver approved plans and manufacturing schedules.
• Managing materials, samples, product flows, purchase orders, invoices, and manufacturing readiness.
• Acting as the main supply chain contact for CMOs and aligning internal and external stakeholders.
• Anticipating risks, resolving execution issues, and supporting compliant GMP operations.
• Driving improvements that increase efficiency, transparency, and operational excellence.
