Job description

Job Description

Just imagine helping shape the data platform, enterprise knowledge platform, and AI foundation that future solutions across the business will depend on. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Student Worker – Product Management, Data Office, you'll work alongside product managers in the LEGO Data Office, supporting the teams building the next-generation data platform, enterprise knowledge platform, and AI foundation.

You'll help keep product work sharp and moving by supporting day-to-day product management activities, turning data and user input into actionable insight, and helping ensure decisions reflect stakeholder needs.

You'll have a genuine seat at the table on an early, high-impact build and an opportunity to contribute to product decisions on foundational platforms used across the business.

This is a student position running until you graduate, typically up to two years, with around 15 hours per week and flexibility around your studies.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated comfort working with data
  • Product development basics
  • Working knowledge of collaboration and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Clear written communication skills, including documentation, notes, and presentations
  • Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL or Python for querying or analysing data
  • Experience building dashboards or metric calculations
  • Exposure to data platforms, knowledge management, or AI and machine learning concepts
  • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, or research activities
What you'll build
  • Support backlog upkeep, ceremonies, documentation, and stakeholder follow-ups across the product team
  • Pull and present data that informs prioritisation decisions
  • Conduct lightweight user and stakeholder research that feeds directly into product planning
  • Help bring structure to competing priorities across a changing and evolving landscape
  • Support product managers in making decisions grounded in stakeholder and user needs
  • Grow into a trusted partner who can run recurring product operations activities with increasing independence

If you've worked in a role where you organised a project, event, student association, or dataset, you'll feel at home here. If you've used data to draw conclusions or communicated with different groups to keep work moving forward, you'll recognise many of the challenges in this role. What matters most is your willingness to learn, contribute, and make information useful for others.

Life on the team

You’ll join the Product Management team within Data Product and Operations in the Data Office. The team is helping build the foundations the LEGO Group will run on: a modern data platform, an enterprise knowledge platform, and an AI foundation that will enable future agentic solutions.

We work in a collaborative product environment and focus on outcomes over output. Curiosity, organisation, and strong collaboration help us navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.

We follow a hybrid rhythm and expect around two days a week in the office, while remaining flexible around study and exam periods.

What success looks like

In your first year, you’ll become a reliable partner for product operations, helping product managers keep backlog management, ceremonies, documentation, and stakeholder follow-ups running smoothly. You’ll produce analysis and research that contributes to prioritisation decisions and help reduce coordination overhead across the team.

As the data platform, enterprise knowledge platform, and AI foundation continue to grow, you’ll work closely with product managers, data engineers, platform and architecture colleagues, and internal teams that use these platforms to support adoption, prioritisation, and product ways of working at scale.

We’re looking for students who

  • Are currently enrolled in Denmark in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Erhvervsakademi (professional academy) program in fields related to data
  • Preferably graduating summer 2028 or beyond, having at least 1.5-2 years left of studies
  • Are curious and willing to learn, with a positive, team-player attitude
  • Can be present 15–20 hours per week, ideally with 1–2 days at our LEGO Campus in Billund
  • Are passionate about digital technology and eager to contribute to real projects

The application portal will remain open from 14th September to 12th October 2026.

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to attend our Assessment Day on 4th November 2026 at our Kornmarken Campus in Billund. Following the Assessment Day, there will be one final interview round.

The expected start date for successful candidates is either 1st December 2026 or 1st January 2027.
