Job summary

Famly is hiring a Design System Builder to own the design system, components, and documentation. You’ll ensure coherence across features and domains, and work closely with PMs, designers, and engineers to maintain a high-quality frontend.

The role focuses on building production-ready React and TypeScript components, designing robust APIs, and delivering self-serve docs to empower engineers and AI agents alike. Based in Copenhagen, remote options considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend experience in B2B SaaS, including design system work.
• Strong in React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Taste for craft: spacing, motion, states, and the details that make a component feel finished.
• Think in systems: reusable, documented, maintainable components.
• Own your work end to end from discovery through testing to shipping.

Responsibilities

• Build production-quality React and TypeScript components for Famly's design system.
• Design component APIs that are hard to misuse and version them for upgrades.
• Write self-serve documentation so engineers or AI agents can use components correctly.
• Keep the system trustworthy: tests, visual regression, and a release process.
• Audit and evolve existing components for consistency, accessibility, and reuse across the product.
