Job summary

Hitachi Energy Denmark seeks a strategic Country Communications & Government Relations Manager to lead communications and public affairs in Denmark. You will strengthen relationships with policymakers, media, industry associations, customers, and stakeholders to support business growth and enhance Hitachi Energy's position in the Danish energy sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Political Science, Public Affairs, Law, Energy Policy, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum seven years of experience in public affairs, government relations, strategic communications, media relations, or corporate communications.
Strong understanding of Denmark's political and regulatory landscape with credible engagement with government institutions.
Fluent in Danish and English with strong writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an integrated communications and government relations strategy aligned with Danish priorities and Nordic/European/global objectives.
Advise senior leadership on political, regulatory, reputational, and communications opportunities and risks.
Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, industry associations, policymakers, and key stakeholders in Denmark's energy ecosystem.
Monitor developments affecting the business and provide timely analysis and guidance to leadership.
Contribute to EU advocacy by providing Danish perspectives on EU legislative and regulatory developments.
Lead internal and external communications including media relations, thought leadership, social/digital communications, and crisis communications.
Represent Hitachi Energy in industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
