Novo Nordisk A/S in Kalundborg seeks a DCS System Engineer to safeguard ABB 800xA platforms, ensuring stable operations in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will contribute to a major investment project with business impact, integrating OT/IT, and upholding cGMP and data integrity.

You will collaborate with IT & Automation teams, support lifecycle management, and drive continuous improvement while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in IT, Engineering, Automation, or related discipline.
• Significant experience with ABB 800xA platform configuration, operation, support, or application development.
• Strong knowledge of DCS/OT architectures, including servers, clients, connectivity, user administration, backup, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating automation with IT/OT platforms, data flows, interfaces, and system connectivity.
• Understanding of change control, testing, documentation, and compliance in regulated industries.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated production environments is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of ABB 800xA systems.
• Configure and maintain platform components, applications, user access, system settings, and interfaces.
• Support integrations between ABB 800xA and MES, SAP/EWM, PAT, and PI solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues, system errors, and interface challenges.
• Participate in upgrades, patches, system releases, backups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure documentation, testing, validation, and change management meet cGMP, GAMP, and data integrity standards.
• Collaborate with IT & Automation and Robotics teams in Kalundborg.
