Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a fixed-term assignment in the Greater Copenhagen region. The role focuses on ABB 800xA DCS design, configuration, testing and support in a regulated environment, with potential exposure to other DCS platforms.

You may work as a freelance consultant or via CMC as employed staff. The ideal candidate has hands-on ABB 800xA experience and familiarity with ISA-88 batch control; GMP/GAMP experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on ABB 800xA experience.
• Knowledge of ISA-88 batch control and master recipe design.
• Experience in GMP/GAMP regulated environments is beneficial.
• Experience reviewing automation documentation and specifications.
• Familiarity with MES integrations or PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and test ABB 800xA DCS solutions.
• Review functional specs, interface documents and alarm philosophies.
• Support commissioning, qualification and validation activities.

CMC is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join a client in the Greater Copenhagen Region. This is a fixed‑term consultant assignment.

You will operate either as an independent freelance consultant or as an employed consultant through CMC.

We are looking for an experienced DCS consultant with strong ABB 800xA experience for a consultant assignment in the Greater Copenhagen region. The role covers design, configuration, testing and support of DCS solutions in a regulated automation environment. Experience with other DCS platforms is also a benefit.
