Job summary

Danske Commodities is building and running internal data platform capabilities to empower engineers, quants and traders. You will design core frameworks, run cloud infrastructure on Azure, and enable self-service paths for rapid data product development.

We seek engineers with production-systems experience, strong C#/.NET and Python skills, and fluency in English. The role combines software engineering with data tooling across a collaborative team in Aarhus.

Qualifications

• hold a relevant educational background within computer science, software engineering or similar – or equivalent practical experience
• have experience as a software engineer building production systems
• are proficient in C#/.NET and Python
• have hands-on experience with cloud, containers and CI/CD (e.g. Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions)
• are proficient in English - both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• design, build and run internal data platform capabilities and shared tools
• set up cloud data infrastructure on Azure (Databricks, databases, streaming)
• implement self-service 'golden paths' for rapid data product launches
• set up, integrate and run hosted data tooling like data catalogue and data-quality products
• operate the platform with monitoring, incident investigation and continuous improvement
