Job summary

Danske Commodities is seeking a data engineer to design, develop and implement scalable data infrastructure and pipelines on Databricks and Azure. You will collaborate with traders, quants and engineers to enable data-driven decisions across US energy markets.

The role involves ownership of production issues, translating business needs into technical designs, and mentoring teammates while shaping the long-term product roadmap with the product owner.

Qualifications

• hold a relevant educational background in computer science, software engineering, data engineering or a similar technical field – or have equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• designing, developing and implementing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines
• own production issues, identify root causes and drive solutions
• translate business needs into technical designs and deliverables with stakeholders
• act as technical sparring partner and mentor to fellow engineers and shape roadmap with product owner
• designing and documenting data solutions aligning with architectural stakeholders and delivery quality
• working closely with business stakeholders to understand processes and define success criteria
