Job summary

Danske Commodities is building a data platform that powers data products, forecasting models and analytics workflows. You’ll design, build and run core platform capabilities, collaborating with engineers and quants to deliver scalable data solutions.

You’ll work with modern data platforms, developer tooling (Backstage) and AI-assisted engineering, shaping how teams operate and making data products faster to bring to life.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#/.NET and Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud, containers and CI/CD.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run internal data platform capabilities.
• Create shared tools, platform frameworks and self-service paths for teams.
• Set up cloud data infrastructure on Azure (Databricks, databases, streaming) for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Develop and run hosted data tooling such as data catalog and data quality products.
• Operate platform capabilities including monitoring, incidents and continuous improvement.
