Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a data management specialist to establish excellence standards across manufacturing processes and governance. You will lead BI-focused initiatives, ensuring data integrity and scalable solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in the EMEA region.

You will train users, improve data practices, and support MES data collection across PHC systems, MASA, and related tools, enabling informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Data Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Management activities and data analysis.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with BI tools and dashboard management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in integration and leadership of multifunctional teams focused on data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards of excellence in data management to ensure data integrity, security and confidentiality.
• Design data management solutions that are efficient, scalable and flexible.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns and valuable insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Work with multi‑disciplinary teams to understand manufacturing data needs and address them effectively.
• Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure compliant data handling.
• Support IT in developing data security strategies to protect confidential data.
• Evaluate and select data management tools and technologies to meet Ball's needs.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor data quality and perform data cleaning and standardization.
• Provide training and support to ensure users can effectively use data tools.
• Continuously improve data management practices to increase efficiency and impact.
• Be a second Subject Matter Expert in MES data collection across PHC (MASA and other MES systems).
