Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Commercial Manager to join the Copenhagen delivery teams for a large Data Centre project in Denmark. The role requires an Electrical background with a minimum of eight years post-qualification experience and a track record in commercial management for complex projects.

The successful candidate will support the Construction Team, monitor contracts, manage subcontractors, and drive accurate reporting and forecasting, with career growth opportunities under senior

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification essential in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Economics.
• Previous Data Centre experience preferable but not essential.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience post qualification essential.
• Experience in an Electrical role required.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent IT Skills.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Team on Quantity Surveying functions.
• Ensure contract obligations are complied with and monitored.
• Identify commercial risks and report to management.
• Prepare monthly progress applications with remeasure, variations, and claims.
• Provide procurement support in collaboration with Procurement Dept.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from award to final account.
• Forecast turnover and cash flow for projects.
• Review projects for accurate reporting and trends.
• Review Employer/Design Team/subcontractor correspondence for critical items.
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and mentor on-site team.
• Handle all other duties related to the role.
