Danish HR Operations Specialist for Driver Workforce

Job summary

Xanh SM in Denmark is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to support our growing driver workforce. You will handle day-to-day HR operations, payroll coordination, employment contracts, leave management, and compliance with Danish law and collective bargaining agreements.

You will be the main contact for drivers and managers on HR matters, collaborating with Payroll and Operations to streamline processes and maintain accurate HR data in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting blue-collar employees, ideally within transportation, logistics, distribution, or similar industries.
• Good knowledge of Danish employment legislation and collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience working with unionised employees and high-volume workforces.
• Experience with payroll administration, employment contracts, and leave management.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with HR systems.
• Ability to manage multiple HR tasks and employee requests while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and a service-minded approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional Danish and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR and payroll systems.
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs, including working hours, overtime, allowances, and absences.
• Handle employee questions related to salary, benefits, contracts, leave, and HR policies.
• Manage sickness absence, parental leave, holidays, and required registrations with Danish authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Danish employment legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies.
• Support managers with employee relations and day-to-day HR matters.
• Manage the HR inbox and ensure timely responses to employee requests.
• Work closely with Payroll and Operations to improve HR processes and ensure accurate employee data.
