Job summary

The Porse group at BRIC, University of Copenhagen, invites applications for 1–2 assistant professor positions to develop and characterize models of human hematological disorders using primary human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. The role emphasizes CRISPR-based modelling, teaching and dissemination of results.

We seek highly motivated scientists with a PhD in life sciences, proven research output, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• A PhD in life sciences or equivalent research experience.
• Strong research experience documented by relevant research output.
• Experience with CRISPR-based modelling in primary human cell culture systems.
• Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented structured approach to work tasks.
• Collaborative skills.
• Excellent English skills written and spoken.
• An interest in pre- and postgraduate teaching experience.
