Københavns Universitet, BRIC/Finsen Laboratory, invites applications for 1–2 Assistant Professor positions in Experimental Hematology to model human hematological diseases using CRISPR in primary cells.

The appointees will join a diverse, international group with a focus on normal and malignant hematopoiesis; the starting date is January 1, 2027, and the position is fixed-term for 3 years.

Qualifications

• A PhD in life sciences or equivalent research experience.
• Strong research output demonstrated by publications.
• Experience with CRISPR-based modelling in primary human cell culture systems.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
• Interest in pre- and postgraduate teaching.

Responsibilities

• Research-based teaching and dissemination of knowledge to society.
• Participation in formal pedagogical training for assistant professors.
• Develop and characterize models of human hematological disorders.
