Job summary

The Porse group at BRIC, University of Copenhagen, invites 1-2 assistant professors to develop and characterize CRISPR-based models of human hematological disorders in primary hematopoietic cells. The role includes research, teaching, and societal engagement, with a focus on training through formal pedagogical programmes.

Starting date is January 1, 2027; BRIC offers a stimulating international research environment and modern facilities. 37 hours/week, fixed-term for 3 years.

Qualifications

• A PhD in life sciences or equivalent research experience.
• Strong research experience documented by relevant research output.
• Experience with CRISPR-based modelling in primary human cell culture systems.
• Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented structured approach to work tasks.
• Collaborative skills.
• Excellent English skills written and spoken.
• An interest in pre- and postgraduate teaching experience.
