Job summary

Trackunit is seeking a Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts to own negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, notably MTAs, across EMEA and APJ. You will partner with Commercial teams to move deals quickly while managing risk and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will also contribute to broader legal, governance, and regulatory matters, including GDPR compliance, with the playbook driving escalation only when necessary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation, ideally in-house with commercial exposure.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and EU data- and software-related legislation.
• Strong commercial instincts balancing legal precision with deal pragmatism.
• Industry knowledge in software or construction technology is a plus but not required.
• Ability to distinguish between standard redlines and terms needing escalation within the playbook.

Responsibilities

• Own the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, especially MTAs.
• Serve as trusted legal partner to Commercial teams across EMEA and APJ, resolving standard redlines per playbook.
