Job summary

Trackunit is seeking a Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts based in Denmark to own negotiation and drafting of MTAs and other commercial agreements across EMEA and APJ. You will partner with Commercial teams to move deals quickly while managing risk.

You will also contribute to GDPR, governance, and EU regulatory matters, building a playbook to reduce cycle times and free the General Counsel to handle strategic work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation, ideally gained in-house or in a role with strong commercial exposure.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and EU data‑and‑software‑related legislation.
• Strong commercial instincts and ability to balance legal precision with deal pragmatism.

Responsibilities

• Own the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, particularly MTAs.
• Act as a trusted legal partner to Commercial teams across EMEA and APJ.
• Identify and mitigate risk exposure in contract terms and escalate when needed.
• Support general legal, governance, and regulatory work, including GDPR compliance.
• Build understanding of Trackunit’s business to balance legal and commercial needs.
• Take full ownership of the commercial contracting process and playbook.
