Job summary

Trackunit is seeking a Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts to own the negotiation and drafting of MTAs and other commercial contracts. You will partner with Commercial teams across EMEA and APJ to drive faster deal cycles while managing risk and regulatory exposure.

You will contribute to broader legal, governance, and regulatory work, including GDPR compliance, and work within Trackunit’s Legal and Compliance department reporting to the VP – General Counsel. This is an IC3 role in Denmark.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in contract negotiation, in-house or with strong commercial exposure.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and EU data/software legislation.
• Strong commercial instincts balancing legal risk and pragmatism.
• Familiarity with software or construction technology is a plus.
• Ability to escalate redlines outside the contract playbook.

Responsibilities

• Own the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, particularly MTAs, with fast turnaround.
• Partner with Commercial teams across EMEA and APJ to resolve standard redlines using the playbook.
• Identify and mitigate risk exposure; escalate material terms to General Counsel/CXO as needed.
• Support general legal, governance, and regulatory work, including GDPR and EU compliance.
• Develop deep understanding of Trackunit’s products and customers to balance law and business needs.
• Take full ownership of the contracting process and playbook to reduce the General Counsel’s workload.
